This book came from Goodwill immediately, and although I expected it to be in used condition, it is exactly like a new book. The story of Philip's "time off" from MIT, the why and where, caught my attention immediately for a number of reasons: the excellent photography, the reason for his time off (the death of his dog) and the MIT connection. My husband and I both really enjoyed it as did our granddaughter. Most of the above-mentioned scenarios have been repeated endlessly in mysteries. Our grandfathers are the tellers of stories, passing on the knowledge they have accumulated over the years, and sharing the lessons they've learned from the grandfathers who have gone before them, who in turn received them from their elders.
